June 25, 2000

Stephanie modelled for her husband, Samuel Painter's painting of her. Stephanie was startled by a loud boom but Sam assured her that it was only a thunderstorm. When he showed her the picture, she was flattered by it. Stephanie yawned as it was so late at night. They had sex when they went to bed.

June 26, 2000

Stephanie found Sam painting a picture of a house. When she asked if it meant they were moving, he denied it and said he wanted to redecorate. Stephanie mistook the mug of InkToon paint water for her cup of coffee and spat the water on Sam's work. She then drank her cup of coffee and put it in the kitchen sink. She then went into the bathroom and did a pregnancy test. She tested positive, so she told Sam the news.

September 26, 2000

Stephanie went to Skokie Hospital to for an ultrasound of her baby. Dr. Ipkiss told her that the baby had a SuperGene and would be a GeneHuman.

April 1, 2001

Stephanie Painter woke up to her unborn baby crying to be let out. When her husband Sam asked her if she started April Fools' Day with a ventriloquist joke, Stephanie affirmed that it was the baby. When Sam asked how the unborn child could be talking, Stephanie reminded him that the baby was a GeneHuman. When Sam asked what power could allow a baby to talk in the womb, Stephanie didn't know. She wanted to hurry to the hospital. The baby didn't like being called "it," so she told them she was a girl. When Stephanie asked the baby how she was talking, she told her that she spoke the same way Stephanie did. The baby struggled to breathe, so she urged her parents to get her out. Sam and Stephanie got dressed and ate breakfast. They then got in the car. On the way to Skokie Hospital, Sam asked what they were going to call their baby. Stephanie thought of the name Mary, but the baby insisted that she'd be called Sue. Stephanie compromised with "Mary Sue" but the baby punched her from the inside. Stephanie called her Susan Stephanie Painter and the baby accepted the name. Sue urged her parents to hurry up with a jackhammer. Then she tried to dig out of her mother with a pickaxe. When Stephanie asked where Sue got those tools, Sue replied that she got them out of hammerspace. She then tried to use a hammer and a bomb to get out. When the explosion only shook Stephanie, she asked Sue if she was trying to kill her. Sue told her that she just wanted to get out. When the car arrived at the hospital, Stephanie was rushed to the delivery room to give birth to Sue. Sue's first words was a comment about how nasty it was in there. M.E.T.A. Director Rex McCool came into the room to see Sue. He commented that M.E.T.A. had registered people to do stuff only seen on cartoons but never had anyone who looked like a cartoon. When Sue asked him if she was that special, McCool told her she was. When Stephanie worried that McCool would take Sue away, McCool told her that he would only schedule appointments for the first Monday of July of each year. Stephanie agreed on that plan. Sam asked for Rex McCool's business card, and McCool showed him.
